Beacon Health System recently completed construction of an $11.7 million Beacon Goshen Outpatient Center located along U.S. 33 near County Road 17 on the north side of Goshen. Patients now have access to urgent care, imaging services, physical therapy and Beacon Medical Group Specialty Services in one convenient location.

The new 20,000-square-foot outpatient center is located at 2222 Rieth Blvd., adjacent to Beacon Medical Group Goshen Family Medical Center.

“More patients continue to seek convenient and accessible medical care in an outpatient setting,” said Diane Maas, Beacon’s Chief Strategy and Digital Growth Officer. “We are excited to bring a wide array of services to this great new location for the Goshen area.”

Beacon Goshen Outpatient Center contains the first MedPoint Urgent Care in the Goshen area. The facility, which employs about 50 associates, also features Beacon’s first open MRI that is specially designed for patients who are uncomfortable in enclosed spaces. Additionally, the center offers specialty care from Beacon Medical Group Goshen Specialists and physical therapy services.

This outpatient facility also houses a newly relocated South Bend Medical Foundation blood donation center that offers Elkhart County residents access to a location close to home.

A ribbon cutting is planned for noon, Aug. 12, in partnership with the Goshen Area Chamber of Commerce, to celebrate the completion and opening of Beacon Goshen Outpatient Center.

“We are responding to growing demand from healthcare patients to receive care at outpatient facilities, without having to come into a large hospital campus,” Maas said. “Convenience and ease of access will mark the patient experience at our new Goshen facility.”
